ONE FC names Matt Hume the new Vice President of Operations and Competition. Yeah, thats a good thing.

There are some jobs out there that you just can’t let any Tom, Dick and Hairy do. We’re talking about jobs like being a doctor, the CEO of Apple Computer, a commando or one of the toughest jobs in the world, being Santa Claus. I really wanted to add the President of the United States in that list but I remembered they let Bush do it so I guess they do let any Tom, Dick and Harry apply for that role. One job that requires the experience and skill of a very special individual is the position of VP of Operations and Competition for Asia’s biggest MMA promotion, ONE Fighting Championship. It’s a job that requires someone special to fill the role. It requires a special individual who can not only handle the responsibility that comes along with such a high profile job but who can also help mold the future of the company. ONE FC has found that special individual and he is the one and only Matt Hume.

ONE FC has appointed MMA legend Matt Hume as Vice President of Operations and Competition. Hume’s primary responsibilities include matchmaking and talent recruitment, managing standards in rules and regulations, and guardian of ONE FC’s first-class show experience.  CEO of ONE FC, Victor Cui, had this to say about Hume joining his ONE FC team.

Prior to taking up this role in ONE FC, Hume served as a world class trainer, promoter, sanctioning body president, referee, event judge, rule director, matchmaker, television commentator and author. Hume is undeniably one of the most experienced and most respected individuals in the whole industry of mixed martial arts. To top it all off, despite all his accomplishments, Hume is really one of the most humble, friendly and genuine human beings you’ll ever meet. He’s the kind of guy who really deserves all the respect he gets.
