UFC’s Mike Goldberg checks into rehab for pill addiction.

As much as you may like to believe it, we here at TFN aren’t really big on reporting rumors or juicy gossip. Yeah, sure we write about broken penises and everything Bob Sapp, but we refrain on writing about shit like drug abuse and other things that make you go “I KNEW IT”. It’s just way too controversial (or maybe not) but hey, this story is too good to pass up. UFC’s commentator, Mike Goldberg (aka Goldie aka the guy who always messes up), has checked himself into rehab for a pill addiction.

In case you didn’t realize it, Goldberg skipped UFC 155: “Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2″ pay-per-view (PPV) event last Saturday night (Dec. 29, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason was unknown, until now. A report from Terez Owens suggests that Goldberg was removed from the announce table while he seeks rehabilitation for an addiction to drugs, specifically Adderall, a stimulant typically used to treat ADHD. Yeah, that’s some bad shit right there.

According to Terez Owens,

“The UFC refused to comment, but our sources are telling us the reason behind Goldberg’s no show is he’s stuck in Rehab for a pill addiction. Our source tells us Goldberg has an addiction to adderall.”

Pretty ironic given the fact that Goldberg’s wing man and buddy Joe Rogan was always known as the pot head in the team. Whatever the case, we wish Goldie well and hope to hear more of his funny mess ups down the road in the near future.
